About Spuddle
Spuddle is building a Duolingo-style app for Excel to help young professionals boost their digital confidence and career readiness. We’re turning boring spreadsheet tutorials into fun, bite-sized learning with gamification, microlearning, and community at the core. Our story began on Instagram and TikTok, where we grew to over 200.000 followers in just six months by sharing simple Excel tips. Now, we’re turning that traction into a global EdTech startup.
The Role
We’re looking for a frontend developer who’s excited to help bring our app to life. You’ll work closely with our App Developer Lead and Graphic Designer to build and polish our React Native app (built with Expo). Your
Responsibilities
Implement new features and UI components in React Native (Expo)
Collaborate with the our app developer lead to integrate RESTful APIs
Ensure a smooth and responsive user experience across devices
Work with Git for version control and collaboration
Understand and translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, functional screens — including interpreting spacing, typography, and component logic
Collaborate efficiently with our designer to bridge the gap between design and code
Technical Requirements
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with React Native (Expo experience is a big plus)
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Comfortable collaborating with Git
Understanding of Figma and the design-to-development handoff process
